Shubham Patil Cinematographer | Director
Capturing the balance between reality and beauty — always in service of the story. My journey with visual storytelling began long before I understood what it truly meant. I inherited an artistic legacy from my grandfather, a passionate painter and sculptor, and carried it forward through drawing and painting. Over time, my canvas evolved — from sketches to still images, and eventually, to motion pictures. That evolution led me to fall deeply in love with cinematography and direction.After gaining hands-on experience in Mumbai’s vibrant film industry, I moved to Prague to pursue filmmaking at Prague Film School, where I completed a two-year course in Narrative Filmmaking and Advanced Cinematography (2024). Since then, I’ve been working as a Director of Photography on short films, feature films, commercials, and music videos, while collaborating with inspiring filmmakers in both Prague and Mumbai. I believe in finding the right balance between reality and beauty, while keeping the story at the heart of every frame. My work explores visual emotion, atmosphere, and rhythm — creating images that feel alive and cinematic. I’m always open to connecting with artists, storytellers, and creators from diverse backgrounds to build a world full of inspiring stories. See you at the cinema!
